Seven weeks to the day of the Main Event , Vibe 08 . Johnny The Fox Meets Jimmy The Weed ...I never imagined that we would be doing a 22nd Vibe , all the best advice said " leave it at 21" ...Maybe just like Philip we don't know when or how to quit , when ahead !!.........
Was cruising back from Galway last Sunday , having spent the weekend with Fluffs & Family working on Designs for T. Shirts , Outdoor Posters , Press Ads & Laminate , "tuned into and listening to" , Live & Dangerous on the Stereo and thinking how amazing the band were in their hey day and  wishing that I was meeting Philo for a Pint  later as opposed to organizing a  Remberence Event in his memory ...If only ...I still miss his  Spirit & Passion  so much ...
Have just finished reading Thin Lizzy by Alan Byrne , which I borrowed from my favourite nephew Robbie Bray , a great read , highly recommended , if you haven't already got  your nose through it ...
Picked up a copy of the reissued Live & Dangerous DVD  this afternoon ,  that will be my bedtime viewing for the next few evenings ...Incidententally Philomena &  I have The Original Backdrop/ Lizzy Sign from that Show , which we intend to  Light Up & Display at the  forecoming Vibe & possibly put on the w.w.market thereafter , if the " Price is Right "... .." Come on Down" ....Step Right Up " ..bring your "Crisp Dollar Bills " ....  A  contribution to both our Pension Funds -  Why Not , Philip would love it ... Justice at last ......
Meanwhile the Show itself is shaping up well,  with Tizz Lizzy and Glyder added to the Bill ...While The Hoodoo Rhythm Devils slots will be incorporating sets from Gnasher & the Southbound Band, not to mention The Elite with Robbie & Eddie G dropping in for a Hot Slot ... More Guests & Acts to Follow ...  
The All Ages Matinee is another One Off  Event , won't fall on a weekend for a few years again, if ever... In fact this could be The Final Countdown ...
I'm  60 in  March and maybe in view of my recent ill health, it's about time I hung up my Rock & Roll Shoes & Stripes and headed off to "far away hills ".... Another issue I would like to  mention before I close,  is  that this years Event has a limited capacity, so hop to it if you wish to be present ....

Greetings all , back on the goodfoot , more or less . A lots happened since we hast chatted , in more ways than one .. Spent a month in Spain & had such a good time that I ended up in Hospital on my return ...Incidentally , thanks everybody for all your kind wishes , much appreciated ... Anyway  , The  22nd Vibe is up and running , Johnny the Fox meets Jimmy the Weed ...at the Newly Opened  Button Factory ,( refurnished old Temple Bar Music Centre ) : Tickets are on Sale , Net wise through www.ticketnaster.ie  @ the allocated outlets for the Picture Tickets , which are extra special this year with an original Painting by Webmaster Fluffs , based on a dream by your truly .. More about that in and around the Event !!! The Housband Concept is built around Brian Grace M.D. and are called The Hoodoo Rhythm Devils . It was originally Philos Passion Posse  , but this is better & more apt ...Their extended slot  will include sets from Gnasher and The Southbound Band , with Special Guest Vocalists and Musicians  popping up throughout the evening  ...There will also be a full supporting Cast featuring other Bands and Solo Acts  ..In reality I am only getting to work on The Show  at this stage ,  now  that the Art Work , Venue , Tickets etc , are  sorted ...If you or your Act wish to get involved , please make contact ...I am in particular looking for some Young Talented Acts for the Matinee senior ...Know any ??? Keep me posted ...Well that's about it for now . Greetings all ...Sitting here thinking if we can muster up another Vibe or not ??? Or should we leave it at 21 , in the annals of Irish Rock History !!!...It wont be east with the Mc Donald's  version of Thin Lizzy , without the Big Mack ,putting it up  in our face with their feelgood factor shows leading up to  Christmas ...It will be hard to sell out Vicar St after that ....The ideal thing is to downsize , but to where ? Most Venues in Dublin want to do a double Shift , especially at weekends , & we hate that ...Being thrown out at 10.45 to make room for a Disco and double whammy for the promoter ...Distrusting ...Greedy Bastards ...Apart from all that , there is some interesting Ideas going around ...! , A fusion of Art & Music , Inviting Artist around the World to summit their work on a Philo theme for Exhibition in & around the Event ...2 , Martina for the under 18,s on Sat 5th ...House Band with Guests , MD Brian Grace , plus your Usual Suspects for Pre & Post Vibes ...What do you reckon ? Can we pull it off once again , or should we let it rest ???Over to You ...I'm undecided at present ...Regards ...$miley

Recently I took a bath in my sisters bath water. While playing with my model u-boat I swallowed some of the bath water. I'm now afraid I could be pregnant.
I am 35, and my mammy says I'm too young to have a child, and that I'm a fecking eejit. What will I do?.
