Hoodoo's On Tour Pt 1

When they say it's over, it's not all over completely:No sir-ee, because one of the interesting spin-offs of this years Vibe is The Hoodoo Rhythm Devils deciding to stick around on a semi-permanent basis throughout the year and undertaking some countrywide performances in the form of a series of Mini Tours. Picking up where they left off with the "Live & Dangerous" set on their first outing, then over a series of gigs changing the set and honing it down to be Ready to Rock at next year's 25th Aniversary Vibe. Or at least that's the plan.

We are going to do these first brace of gigs folks, as listed in Hugo Mc Guinness's excellent Press Release (download below), then sit back, chat and decide "if and what next"...

Click Here for Press ReleaseHaving watched the Hoodoos Vibe performance on numerous occasions to varying critical observations, It is what it is - a good nights entertainment, which is best experienced Live. Considering that it was their 1st offical Gig, it will get tighter with the playing. Its a pretty fine line up - A class act! But at the end of the day its only a tribute - hardely cutting edge originality. To be honest with you I find all tributes without Philo to be a waste of space. On special occasions like 4th Jan and 20th Aug OK , you can just about get away with it, but all year round - I dont think so : Except for the money and the ego.

Anyway we intend to have some fun with it and hope you all step-out and join in the festivities too. I am doing up 150 first edition copies of the dvd, which we will be flogging at gigs and if Robbie were to set us up a Pay Pal Account we could post worldwide, So that's the story folks. Hoodoo Rhythm Devils on Tour Pt 1 . See you at the Shows hopefully...

Cheers...
